More swell for Sunday…

The swell was definitely filling in on Saturday…though it sounded, from some of the reports, that the morning high tide was a bit brutal for some areas.

I paddled out in HB around 10:30am and there were plenty of shoulder-head high+ sets with some occasional bigger waves mixing it up. Unfortunately it felt like the W-NW is steamrolling right over the weaker SW swell. I wish that it was a bit more combo-y but I bet the points/reefs were firing.

Check out the “nowcast” from CDIP this evening

Sunday should have a lot more waves from the get-go…but keep in mind that there is another high tide rolling through mid-morning that might slow things down.

Oh and if you are looking for "big" surf...you might want to avoid the areas on the map that are showing the darker blue colors.

Happy hunting!

I was disappointed by the lack of South showing through as well as the high tide.
