Transworld SURF Forecast – Plenty more swell out there

You're kicking ass on the forecasts as usual.
Question regarding today's swell: why did the harvest buoy show long period swell (>15 seconds) and all of the buoys down in san diego (o'side, torrey pines, etc. never really made it over 14 seconds)?
