Calling all bodysurfers

All you bodysurfers out there…there is a pretty cool little project in the works over at Brownfish Handplanes. It sounds like they are trying to take one of their handplanes on a world tour…letting people all over the globe trying it out, possibly recording a little video, and then sending it on to the next guy.

If you are down for being a part of the project…go ahead and check out this post over on the Daily Bread blog, it has all the details.

Very UnCool--Your spamming my mailbox!
Its not about sending one around the world and how cool that is. Its about selling and promoting. Now we all know that a 60 ish guy is crafting these in his garage and they are for sale and it only costs him $20 to make one and send it off to the first guy. I do more good and cool for the world and a persons soul when I give $5 or $20 bucks to a homeless/wino/etc.

I think this is a great project and I look forward to the photos/stories.

To the anonymous commenters... Try creating something that people enjoy, it's a fun and rewarding process.

I appreciate Dalybread's work and have donated to his camera drives before, so what?

Ive been surfing 40 years. Thumbs down. Appeals to the 'gee whiz', born yesterday crowd with little experience. I own a hayes handplane and this stuff or what you call a 'promotion' is actually quite hinky.
BTW, the guy making these has a price tag of $140 on these. Dont you just love him! Plastic molded ones (redwings: made/sold in Hawaii, they have contests for these)are typically $40-50.
