Waves for Wednesday – Fun Morning surf

Wednesday will be a surf day.

The S swell that filled in on Tuesday will hold/peak into early Wednesday…though the W-NW energy from that last storm will be dropping down a bit. I still think there will be enough of both swells to combo up at the well exposed spots but the S-SSW swell (180-200) will be doing a bit more of the heavy lifting while the NW standout spots drop off a bit in size.

Look for average exposed spots to be in the waist-chest high range on Wednesday with the better S facing breaks seeing a bit more size and consistency. The standout S facing breaks and the excellent combo spots can expect more chest-head high surf with some inconsistent overhead sets. Looks like most of the energy is going to be focused on Orange County and San Diego, but most of the usual summer standouts should have something to ride, though it may not be as big or as consistent.

Winds look good for the morning…mostly light and variable, even light offshore in a few spots…but they look a little fragile in terms of the overall flow, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some early onshore texture pick up through OC and SD during the midmorning. By the afternoon all spots will be seeing W-NW winds around 10-14 knots. Definitely look for the cleanest conditions in the morning.

I think Wednesday will be pretty fun for most of the exposed areas…the S-SSW swell should be a little more consistent but still punchy, and with the high tide moving a little further back in the morning there should be a little better dawn patrol window. I would try and get on it as early as you can…it feels like the onshore texture/crumble is going to pick up fairly quickly.

Here are the tides…

Adam! Why'd you delete my comments? You can't hide what's raging inside. And its gonna come out. Tonight. Look under your bed! I've got a bucket of chorizo with out names on it. And I know where you like to eat it from. Call me, honey.

I bet you had a fun morning! Were you busy waxing your board from last night's session? I heard it was head high, big barrels, and lots of white foam. Ready for round three? I rented Moby's Dick (the mature video and eating game) for us. I'll call John too!

Shut up! I don't want you two on my blog anymore! I found that chorizo and it was gross. Took me five hours to get it out of my, well, you know. You helped me get it in there, John. But its over now. I found somebody new. That's right. Its Eliot. We're together now and he's the only one putting food up my anus now!

John, I just called 911 on you! Get out of the window while Adam is trying to get pregnant. Go away. Nobody likes you and your tiny dick.

Eliot! Your last name is stupid. Butseks? Really? Ya right. Your just Adam trying to play me. He must be having his period. And if your Butseks III, what happened to the other 2? AIDs? Probably. I rest my case.

John, first you peep in my window, now you are making fun of my last name. I just called the police on you for being a meany bonini. And my last name, Butseks is Cherokee. It is pronounced Bout-SEEx. I am disgusted by your immaturity. And by the way, the first Eliot Butseks was killed by Stalin in the purge and the second died trying to save children in an orphanage fire in 1973. Look it up! You can go to hell, John!

I've been following your forecasts for about a month now and these are pretty random comments lol.

Adam I was surfing on the North Side today and I saw an Albino Dolphin and I thought of you.

Haha WTF ?

Waves for Wednesday...I'm gonna have nightmares.

Now that's what we call surfing. Finally a nice clean morning with peaky south lines.

Trolls are an interesting phenomenon - who really has the time/inclination?

Isn't it more fun to just go surfing and either: (a) complain that it sucks (while hoping for tomorrow); or (b) scoring really nice surf?

@adam: you contradict yourself. One minute your eliot's lover and the next you call him a troll. either come out of the closet or go back in. Too funny. Good surf though! keep up the good work.
